ATL Development Tools (ADT) are a suite of Eclipse plugins including an ATL engine (compiler and virtual machine) as well as an IDE (Integrated Development Environment).

There are several distributions of ATL:

• A single zip bundle including Eclipse, EMF, and ADT. Simply unzip it to install. Requirements: Windows and JRE (Java Runtime Environment) >= 1.4.
• Binary Eclipse plugins available from Eclipse/M2M/ATL/Download website. They can be installed by following the ATL installation guide.
• Sources are available from Eclipse CVS. They can be browsed with Eclipse viewcvs. ADT can be built and installed from these sources by following the ATL installation guide.
